ABOUT ME

Music has always been more than just a playlist to me—and if you’re here, chances are it matters to you too. I’m DJ Mike Benoit, and my approach is simple: treat your event like it’s the only one on my calendar. From our first conversation to the final song of the night, my focus is on creating an experience that feels effortless, intentional, and completely you. I’m known in the industry for tight, technical mixing, creative transitions, and an ability to read a room in real time—but just as important is my mastery of the microphone. As a skilled host and MC, I know how to guide the flow of the night, elevate the energy when it matters, and let the meaningful moments speak for themselves.

Outside of DJing, service and leadership have always been a defining part of who I am. I’m a career firefighter and have proudly served in the Army National Guard since 2008. For 15 years, I was a member of the Army Band, producing and performing concerts and large-scale shows across New Hampshire and throughout Central America. I also spent several years as the frontman of the Army’s rock band—an experience that sharpened my stage presence, crowd engagement, and ability to command a room with confidence and authenticity. Those years on stage directly shaped the way I perform today as both a DJ and an MC.

 

That combination of technical precision, live-performance experience, and real-world professionalism is what sets my work apart. I approach every event with preparation, intention, and respect for the trust you place in me. Whether it’s a luxury wedding, a private celebration, or a packed dance floor late into the night, my goal is always the same: deliver a polished, stress-free experience backed by years of high-level performance and production.

Above all else, I’m a husband and a father, and my family is my greatest motivation. I’m incredibly grateful to do work that I truly love—work that allows me to celebrate people, tell stories through music, and be part of life’s most meaningful moments. I don’t take that responsibility lightly. Every event I perform is approached with passion, humility, and an uncompromising commitment to excellence.
